Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information across Radiocast hosting, AirChain, Reporter, Sites, and the rest of the Radiocast suite.
We don’t sell personal information
We disclose data only to service providers that help us run Radiocast (listed below). We do not sell listener profiles, resell audience data, or run third-party ad networks on the site.
Control your data
Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting support.
Security-minded
We apply reasonable safeguards; no method is 100% secure.
Global standards
We address GDPR/EEA and U.S. privacy requirements where applicable.
Who we are
The website located at https://radiocast.net (the "Website") and all products, services, features, content, applications, and technologies provided through it (the "Service") are operated by Radiocast ("Radiocast", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Website and Service.
The Service includes Radiocast hosting and the broadcaster panel, AirChain, Reporter, Sites, the station directory and profiles, the Radiocast store and advertising tools, the Academy, Blog, and News, the AI assistant, and our billing portal at billing.radiocast.net. Where a product handles data differently, we say so in Product-specific notices.
We take care of your personal data and aim to maintain its confidentiality and security. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the Website and Service. The categories include:
- Account and profile information: name, display name, email, usernames (e.g., Discord), and preferences.
- Content and usage: stations you create or follow, chat messages, interactions, logs, and settings. Station pages, DJ profiles, and directory listings are public, so what you publish there can be seen by anyone.
- Device and technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, time zone, language, and diagnostic data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers that enable functionality and optional analytics. See Cookies below.
- Payment and billing records: card payments run through Stripe; full card numbers are handled only by Stripe and never pass through Radiocast application servers. Names, postal addresses, email, company details where you provide them, and related invoice metadata may be stored on our FOSSBilling-based billing portal (billing.radiocast.net) and in Stripe as needed to charge and manage your purchases.
- Age confirmation: your answer to whether you are 13 or older when you create an account. See Children and age.
- Communications: your messages to support and your preferences.
Why we process your data
We process data to operate and improve the Service, including to authenticate users, provide features (e.g., station hosting, directory discovery, chat, and optional analytics), process orders and send purchase-related messages, secure the Service, comply with law, prevent abuse, and communicate with you.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., product improvement, security, collecting customer feedback); consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
Listening and broadcaster data
When you listen to a station or operate one on Radiocast, we process technical data needed to deliver audio (for example, IP address, device and browser type, stream requests, and error logs). We use this information to operate streams, enforce plan limits such as concurrent listener caps, prevent abuse, and keep the platform reliable.
What we do not do with listener data: We do not package or sell detailed listener profiles to advertisers or data brokers. We do not use listening analytics to impose surprise usage overages or hidden metering charges beyond the listener limits described in your hosting plan.
Station owners may see aggregate or operational metrics related to their stations. Public station pages may show disclosures the owner enables (for example, explicit-content warnings or AI-generated music transparency badges).
Product-specific notices
These notices apply on top of the rest of this Policy for the products below.
Billing portal and Radiocast Portal sign-in
Our customer billing portal at billing.radiocast.net keeps client records for plans, invoicing, and support, including names, billing and service addresses, email, company details, and order or subscription history. If you choose "Continue with Radiocast Portal" on radiocast.net, the portal shares your name, verified email address, and profile details with us so we can sign you in. Your portal account needs a verified email address for this to work. After you buy, we also share your email address with Trustpilot for review invitations (see Trustpilot below).
Reporter
Reporter builds local news, weather, and traffic segments from the rundown you set up. We process your rundown and settings, the areas you target, text you provide, and the audio it produces, and we keep the latest episode available at its delivery address. Where you use voice cloning, we process the reference audio you upload. Only upload a voice if you have the speaker's permission. Reporter may send your inputs to the service providers listed below that support our AI features. Reporter is in alpha, so features and data handling may change as it develops.
Sites
Radiocast Sites stores the website content, settings, and custom domain details you provide, and connects to your station stream to show your player, schedule, and recently played tracks. Site analytics are cookieless and show visitor statistics such as pages viewed, referrers, and device or browser type. If you run a Radiocast Site, you decide what is published and are responsible for telling your visitors how you use their information; we process visitor data on your behalf to provide the site and its statistics.
Support chat
If you contact us through the support chat or the support site at support.radiocast.net, we keep the conversation, your name and email if you give them, the page you were on, and basic browser information so we can answer you and improve support.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to be informed
- The right of access
- The right to rectification
- The right to erasure
- The right to restrict processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to object
- Rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling
To exercise these rights or to appeal a decision, contact us using the information below.
California privacy choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Radiocast does not sell personal information for money and does not run third-party display or audio ad networks on the Service. Optional analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, only when you consent via our cookie banner) may be considered a "share" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. California residents may opt out of non-essential analytics by using cookie preferences or contacting us.
Submit a Do Not Sell or Share requestInternational data transfers
If you are a European resident, we process your information to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the Service), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the data type and purpose. We may anonymize data so it is no longer associated with you.
Information security
We secure information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We keep reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed to be secure.
Children and age
The Service is not directed to children under 13. When you create an account, with email, Discord, or Radiocast Portal sign-in, we ask whether you are 13 or older. If you tell us you are under 13, we do not create an account. We keep that answer in your browser for 24 hours so the question cannot simply be answered again. For accounts that are created, we record that you confirmed you are 13 or older.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data or created an account, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
Other disclosures
Links to other websites
The Service may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for such websites or third parties' privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each website that may collect personal information.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard, we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
Legal disclosures
We will disclose any information we collect, use, or receive if required or permitted by law (such as to comply with a subpoena), or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on the Website and update the "Last updated" date above.
To understand more about this Policy or to exercise any rights concerning your personal information, email us at contact@radiocast.net.
